On December 9, 2024, Mint Security Oy achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. With this certification, we want to show that we take the trust our customers place in us seriously. We understand that we are part of our customers’ supply chain. 

We carry out our work enthusiastically and innovatively as always, in such a way that the fundamental principles of information security—confidentiality, integrity, and availability—are met without question. Naturally, we are not immune to problems—part of maintaining trust is the willingness and ability to inform all parties about any potential deviations in our operations.

Although our activities have, for years, closely followed standard practices including formalized risk and incident management, this certification is still a significant achievement for us. Throughout the certification process, we wanted to ensure that our operations are at the level we ourselves want them to be, not merely at a level we hope they could be. Furthermore, by taking this step, we have committed ourselves to ongoing improvements as required by the standard, bringing both tactical and strategic consistency to our own information security.

For years, we have helped our customers achieve the level of information security required for ISO 27001 certification. By obtaining our own certification, we are “eating our own dog food,” so to speak, and we have gained one more project’s worth of experience. We pass this experience on to our customers in its entirety.
